Accessibility Statement
Overview
At Apolo Zamparelli – Soul-Oriented Psychotherapy, we honor the inherent dignity, autonomy, and worth of every person. We are committed to providing full and equal access to our services, physical space, communications, and website for all individuals, including those with disabilities.
Communication
We are committed to effective, respectful communication with all patients and visitors. At no cost, we provide auxiliary aids and services when reasonably necessary to ensure effective communication.
We accept Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) calls, including TTY/TDD, via 711, in the same manner as traditional phone calls.
Website Accessibility
We strive to design, develop, and maintain website content using current technologies that promote accessibility and inclusion. We make ongoing efforts to align with usability and accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as applicable requirements under the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010.
Assistive Devices
Patients and visitors are welcome to use their own personal assistive devices when accessing our services. If a specific assistive device or technology is incompatible with our space or systems, we will work collaboratively to provide reasonable alternative methods that ensure full and equal access.
Companions and Service Animals
Service animals are welcome to accompany individuals with disabilities during visits. Companions or support persons are also welcome as appropriate. Personal assistance will be offered respectfully, discreetly, and only when requested or consented to.
Interruption of Services
In the event of a temporary disruption to accessibility-related services or features, we will provide timely notice of the interruption and communicate the anticipated timeframe for restoration whenever possible.
Training
We are committed to ongoing education and awareness related to accessibility, inclusion, and respectful care. Training supports our ability to communicate effectively and provide sensitive, helpful, and dignified assistance to all individuals.
Modification of Policies or Procedures
Reasonable modifications to policies or procedures will be made when necessary to ensure equal access to our services, website, or communications, unless such modifications would fundamentally alter the nature of the services provided.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and services. For individuals seeking alternative ways to navigate digital content, speech-recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking may be helpful, allowing navigation through voice commands rather than a mouse or keyboard.
